Amy's Green Cleaning Client Guidelines

Your Cleaning Rates – Pricing is determined at the time of the estimate and is
based on the SF of your home as well as the information you provide for us

 Initial cleaning price - If we get to the home to clean and it is going to
take longer to complete than anticipated, we will inform you and you
will have the option to either add additional hours at our normal hourly
rate or provide a list of priorities that can be completed in the time we
have scheduled.

 Recurring price - Our recurring cleanings are a flat rate - meaning you
are charged the same each visit. If we find that we are going over or
under the time you are paying for we will let you know and adjust the
price and time accordingly after speaking with you.

Rate Increases – We evaluate rates annually and will give you plenty of
advanced notice if your rates will be changing.

Preparation For Your Cleaning – Please pick-up as much as possible before
your cleaner arrives. Pick up and put away toys, clothing, and trash. It also helps
for you to declutter surfaces as much as possible. This will allow us to focus
more on cleaning rather than tidying.

Your Cleaner - While we strive to keep our consistency with a single assigned
cleaner, that is not always possible. This is how we handle it:
 When you will be seeing a new or different technician, the technician
will inform you by text.
 If you want the same technician every time just let the office know and
we will annotate that in your file. If your cleaner is out for any reason,
we will let you know and arrange to skip that cleaning.

 

Cleaning Is Not Restoration – We continuously strive for consistency and
attention to detail, not perfection because it’s unrealistic. For example, your
faucet area has been subject to years of hard water and has turned the metal
green. We cannot reverse chemical reactions. The same is true for mold that has
built up behind your bathroom caulking. We are more than happy however to
refer you to a service professional who has this niche focus.

 

Your Feedback - We need your feedback and input on your overall experience
and the quality you are receiving so that we may address issues that are
important to you. We take great pride in our work and will address and/or
correct any issue we are made aware of.

Quality Control – Amy’s Green Cleaning is known for delivering a great quality
cleaning. One of the ways we ensure this is consistent standards and regular
quality inspections by our quality manager, as well as continuing education on
cleaning techniques and products. If your cleaner is going to be inspected, our
quality manager will come at the end of the cleaning to inspect her work.

Pets – We LOVE them! But please secure any pets that may show even the
slightest aggression. Please also note that we do not clean up any animal
accidents and that if we have to leave the property due to an aggressive animal,
you will be charged for the total clean.

Cancellation/Reschedule – There is a $75 charge for cancellations or
reschedules under 48 business hours prior to the appointment. Business hours
are Monday – Friday 8:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.

Illness/Covid – We highly appreciate advance notice if someone is in your
home sick (and contagious) while we are cleaning. If anyone in the home has
Covid and is quarantining, the cleaning will need to be rescheduled.

Weather – When inclement weather strikes, the safety of our employees is
important. We will inform you of any delay or rescheduling as early as possible.

Payment – is due at the time of service. We accept all forms of payment (cash,
checks and major credit cards). Even when paying by cash or check, we require a
credit card to be kept on file.

Damage - When cleaning it's always possible that we might inadvertently
damage a surface. Here's how we handle it.
 If we damage something let us know within 48 hours of the cleaning.
 We will come and inspect the damage. If it appears to be our cleaner's
fault, we will replace or repair it.

Breakage - Accidents are bound to happen and we feel awful when it does.

 Sometimes there are accidents waiting to happen such as pictures not
hung securely, top heavy items with unstable bases, wobbly, tippy
objects, or slippery object such as olive oil bottles with loose caps. We
cannot take responsibility for these. Please remove unstable,
breakables to a place we do not clean (we do not clean inside curios,
China cabinets, or clear wet bar shelves)
 If we break something we will replace or repair it up to $100.
 Please move expensive décor, figurines or glassware valued at over
$100 to a location we are not cleaning or have us skip that area entirely
if you do not want to accept that risk.
 Breakage must be reported with 48 hours of the cleaning.

Solicitation – We value our employees and pour an enormous amount of time,
energy, and expense into our screening, hiring, and training process.
 Our employees sign a non-compete, non-solicitation agreement when
they are hired. They face legal jeopardy if they offer to clean for you "on
the side.” Please inform the office if your cleaner ever approaches you
in this regard.
 If you solicit our employees for private hire, our cleaners are
required to report this is our management. If confirmed, we will
terminate our relationship and cancel your service.

Our policies are designed to help minimize risk and abuse and are not
intended to avoid responsibility.

Amy’s Green Cleaning will never require a contract with customers, but we do
require all new customers to read and acknowledge the above Client Guidelines
in an email back to us.

Please do not hesitate to reach out to us directly if you would like further
clarification on any of our policies. Caring for your home is personal to us. We
do it every day with as much heart and respect as possible. If we fail in any way,
let us know and we will bend over backwards to improve or make things right.
We never want an issue to go unresolved.

you need to know about how we work. By scheduling or receiving a service from us,

you’re agreeing to the updated stated terms below:

Our Commitment To you

100% Satisfaction Guarantee: If you're not happy with something, give us a shout within 24 hours, and we'll re-clean the area at no extra charge. (Note: This doesn't apply for the General Initial Clean or if you opt out of our Initial Deep Clean.)

Fully Insured: We’ve got you covered! Amy's Green Cleaning carries liability insurance, workers' compensation, and bond coverage. So, your home and our team are protected.

Pricing And Timing

Time on the Job: Sometimes, we might need a bit more time than planned. If that’s the case, we’ll contact you to approve any extra time and costs.

Price Adjustments: From time to time, our prices might increase due to rising costs (like fuel or supplies). We’ll always notify you beforehand, so there are no surprises.

Protecting Your Home & pets

Missing Items: We’re careful, but we’re not responsible for any misplaced items. We only move what we need to clean and put it back where it was.

Security Alarms: We respect your home security system, but we can't take responsibility for any charges related to alarms that go off during cleaning.

Bio-Hazardous Materials: We don’t clean areas with hazardous materials like animal or human blood, urine, or feces beyond a small amount. If a lot of it is present, there’s a special cleaning fee for remediation services. (Don’t worry, small specks are no problem!)

Pets on the Run: We love pets, but we can’t be responsible if they slip out during cleaning. Please secure them while we work.

What We Can and Can't Clean

Laundry: We don’t offer on-site laundry services, but we’re happy to help for an extra fee. Please have clean towels and sheets ready for each cleaning.

Trash: We’ll help collect and take care of the trash, but we don’t remove it off-site. Make sure to have trash containers ready for us!

Home Prep: Before we arrive, pick up loose items like laundry or toys. If we need to do extra tidying, additional fees may apply.

Tough Jobs We Don’t Do: We don’t clean walls, or chandeliers, or remove compost. Also, we avoid biohazard areas (like serious mold or mildew).

Other Important Info

Tobacco Policy: If your home has been smoked in, we reserve the right to decline service.

Cleaning Supplies: We bring all our own hand crafted, eco-friendly cleaning supplies and top of the line equipment. Please avoid using products with harsh chemicals (like VOCs) before we arrive.

Damage or Breakage: We're not liable for damage from normal wear and tear, or to valuable items. Please secure anything fragile or valuable before our visit.

Non-Solicitation: We spend many hours and valuable resources to fully and professionally train our staff. Please don’t hire our staff directly for any other services. We love our team and want to keep them working with us!

COVID-19 Safety: We’ve got safety protocols in place to protect you and our team, including testing, disinfection, and special training.

Privacy Statement: Amy’s Green Cleaning is committed to protecting clients' privacy and will not distribute personally identifiable information to third parties.

Exceptions Clause: Amy’s Green Cleaning reserves the right to make exceptions to this service agreement as needed. Cleaning is subjective, and flexibility is maintained. All changes will be sent electronically with notice.

Payments, Cancellations & Scheduling

Administrative Fees: There is a small admin fee on each invoice to help cover our office, administration, and technology costs.

Payments Accepted: We accept all major credit cards and ACH payments. We no longer accept cash or checks. A credit or debit card is required to have on file. It’s easy and secure! If you're not satisfied with your clean, please let us know within 24 hours for a re-clean (no refunds, but we’ll make it right!).

Lock-Out Fee: If we can’t access your home, there’s a $125.00 lock-out fee. Please make sure we can get in!

Scheduling Changes: If you need to cancel or reschedule, please give us 3-5 days’ notice to avoid fees. Emergencies happen, and we get that, but last-minute cancellations will result in a full charge.

Scheduling: We clean Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM, and some holidays we take off.

Rescheduling Your Cleaning: Depending on the frequency of service, rescheduling may result in changes to the service rate.

Payments for Services: It is the policy of Amy’s Green Cleaning that after a 24-hour waiting period with no response from a follow-up call to the client, following any service, all remaining charges, estimated time, approved time, or unapproved time, will be charged to the credit or debit card on file. Amy’s Green Cleaning will attempt to reach out for additional time if needed on the day and time of the cleaning. If the client cannot be reached for any reason, additional time will automatically be added to complete estimated time given for finishing the cleaning. This will happen from time to time. Amy’s Green Cleaning does everything it can to stay within the allotted time given for the clean, keeping in mind that we ESTIMATE the cleaning. It is NOT a fixed quote or proposal.

Discounts

We offer some great discounts when you sign up for recurring services:

Option 1: You can get a discount on the first three recurring cleanings if you commit to 6 months of service. If you cancel before 6 months, you’ll need to pay the full price for the initial deep clean.

Option 2: If you commit to 12 months of service, we’ll give you a discount on the initial deep clean. If you cancel before 12 months, the full price of the initial clean will be charged to your card on file.

Disputes & adjustments

If you ever have any concerns, we’ll address them as quickly as possible. Refunds are rare, but we will inspect any issues thoroughly.

By agreeing to these terms, you’re on board with all the details above and any other disclaimers we might have made.

Acceptance

Acceptance and approval of any estimate, quote or proposal, written or stated by Amy’s Green Cleaning, Inc implies that the client agrees to all parts of these and any other disclaimers, agreements, or contracts, written and/or verbal.
